Empty the Nest will pack and move everything you want us to take. Then we sell, donate, recycle what we can or (if necessary) dispose of the rest. Wall-to-wall, we take most of it.
We can provide a discount for our cleanout service based on the value of gently used furniture and household goods available to sell in our local thrift store. We donate clothing, non-perishable food and other items left behind to charities like Bridging, Goodwill, Salvation Army, food shelf and other thrift stores.

Step 2: Schedule a Complimentary In-Home Consultation
We’ll schedule some time to meet with you at your home and determine an estimate of your project. During the walkthrough, we’ll determine what you’d like to keep, what we can sell and utilize to reduce the cost of your cleanout service, and what we can donate. Then, we’ll provide you with an estimate of your project.
Step 2: Schedule a Complimentary In-Home Consultation
We’ll schedule some time to meet with you at your home and determine an estimate of your project. During the walkthrough, we’ll determine what you’d like to keep, what we can sell and utilize to reduce the cost of your cleanout service, and what we can donate. Step 3: Cleanout Day
We’ll agree on a particular day, and our team will come to your home with a truck and all of the necessary gear to do a full cleanout. We’ll empty everything in your home, from wall-to-wall. We’ll pack everything carefully and thoughtfully, whether we’re taking it to our thrift store for resale, or donating it to a local organization.
Depending on the size of your home and the extent of the cleanout, this process can take anywhere from a few hours to a full day.
